Oral sedation is used to treat dental patients who are anxious and would otherwise be unable to complete a dental treatment. It promotes relaxation and sleepiness. Once sedated, the anxious patient is no longer bothered by the dental procedure. Even so, you can remain responsive and be gently woken if needed. We also offer oral sedation for tooth extractions and other dental treatments that may require surgical components.
