About Us
Dr. Tarun Mehra
Dr. Tarun Mehra, originally from India, was raised in Moncton, New Brunswick. He was intrigued by a career that would enable him to provide patients with a beautiful smile; hence, he chose to become an orthodontist.
Dr. Mehra attended the University of Alberta, following his graduation at Dalhousie University, where he obtained an Honours Baccalaureate degree in biochemistry. Dr. Mehra completed his Masters of Science in the discipline of Pharmacology at The University of Alberta.
It was at the University of British Columbia where Dr. Mehra received his dental training. After earning a master’s degree in Oral Biology from Oklahoma University and an Orthodontic Certificate of Specialization, he has used his training, skills, and experience to provide treatment for severe dental deformations and syndromes.
He is extremely passionate about using his training to change patients’ smiles and, ultimately, their life. For more than 20 years, Dr. Mehra has been practicing in Calgary. Here he has established many amazing patient-dentist relationships and built lasting connections.
When Dr. Mehra isn’t transforming patients’ smiles, he is spending quality time with his family or exploring the great outdoors.
Dr. Jin
Dr. Yi Jin received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto and has been practicing as a general dentist since 2012. She received her Bachelor of Science with high distinction from the University of Ottawa, majoring in Honors Biochemistry, and completing her research at the General Hospital for Lung Cancer Research.
She was born in Beijing, China, but moved to the United States with her family at when she was 6 to Connecticut. At the age of 11, she moved to Ottawa to advance her studies. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and can communicate in French and Cantonese as well.
Dentistry is a rapidly advancing field, and Dr. Jin believes in the importance of keeping up to date with these breakthroughs by taking yearly continuing education courses of varying topics, including preventative, restorative, cosmetic, orthodontics, implants, oral pathology, etc.
An esteemed member of both the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association and College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta. Dr. Jin aims to cultivate a reputation built on integrity and trust with her patients. She prioritizes spending additional time with patients and approaches her practice with kindness, empathy, and authenticity. She believes that kindness, understanding, and a genuine approach goes a long way. On her off time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, sketching, and yoga.

Dr. Brittani Kwok
Dr. Brittani Kwok began her educational journey at the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology in 2019. She then went on to pursue a Master of Dentistry at Griffith University in Queensland, Australia. After living in Australia for 5 years, Dr. Kwok decided to move back to Canada to grow her dental career and be closer to her family.
Originally from Calgary, Dr. Kwok is passionate about serving the community here and is known for her gentle approach to dentistry. Dr. Kwok works to ensure that every patient feels comfortable and informed throughout their dental journey by delivering personalized care for every patient. Whether it is a routine restoration or a complex oral surgery, Dr. Kwok is committed to achieving the highest quality results for her patients. Establishing meaningful relationships with her patients based on compassion, respect, and trust is the center of Dr. Kwok’s treatment philosophy.
Outside the office, Dr. Kwok loves to spend time with her family and friends now that she is back in Canada, as well as running, cooking, crocheting, and travelling.
Gurvir – Dental Assistant
Having worked in the dental field since 2020, Gurvir brings a well-rounded perspective to her role as a Dental Assistant. She earned a Master’s degree in IT and holds a Dental Assisting Diploma, specializing in orthodontics and preventative care.
In her free time, Gurvir enjoys singing and traveling with her friends and family. Her favorite quote is: “The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy. That’s all that matters.” Her cheerful demeanor and dedication to patient care make her a valued member of our team.
Manpreet — Clinical Lead & Dental Assistant
Manpreet has been working in dentistry since 2021 and brings a diverse background to her role
as Clinical Lead and Dental Assisting. She holds a Health Care Aide certification from Bow
Valley College, a GNM Nursing Diploma, and a Dental Assisting Diploma with specialties in
orthodontics and preventative car.
Outside of work, Manpreet enjoys dancing, biking, and traveling with her family. Her favorite
quote is: “Opportunities don’t happen, you create them. ” Her dedication and positive attitude

Simranjit – Dental Administrator
With a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health and Human Services
Management,Simranjit brings three years of experience in the dental field. As a self-motivated
and adaptable professional, she is dedicated to ensuring seamless patient experiences and
efficient office operations. She believes in spreading positivity and lives by her favorite quote:

Twinkle — Dental Administrator
Twinkle is a dedicated Dental Administrator with four years of dental experience. She completed
her Post-Diploma in Health and Human Services Management from Bow Valley College.
‘Thriving in fast-paced environments with confidence and enthusiasm, she is committed to
providing exceptional patient care. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing and yoga. Her favorite
quote is, “Take the time today to love yourself; you deserve it.”
Renee – Office Manager/ TMJ Coordinator
Renee is an experienced Office Manager and TMJ Coordinator wits years in dentistry, 17 of those
alongside Dr. Mehra. With a strong background In various management roles beyond dentistry, she is
well-versed in communication, customer service, and attention to detail. In her spare time, she enjoys
camping with her husband and adult son, quilting, and relaxing at the family cabin. Her favorite quote is,

Monica – Dental Receptionist
Monica has been in dentistry for four years, bringing warmth and efficiency to our front desk.
